Sitting down to talk to the stars of one of the most anticipated new dramas of the season? Well, let’s just say it was, at the very least, magical, and not just because of the enthusiasm displayed by leading actors Jennifer Morrison, Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas.
Morrison told us that she had no intention of going back into a long running show after House, but that “the script was just so special…and you realize that having been on a long running show, special things come along only once in awhile and you can’t just sit back and let it pass you by.” Likewise, Goodwin revealed that she was reading television scripts because she was frustrated with the writing she was finding in the film world. “I wrapped Big Love in December and started reading pilots in February. I had been on a show for so long and I hadn’t read other TV series, but TV really allows you to dig your elbows in a way that film doesn’t. I really think there’s something special about growing with a character and changing with the character.”
Not surprisingly, all three stars were quick to praise (or rather, gush) about show runners Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis, pointing out how well written the scripts and characters were and how much they were looking forward to working on more episodes.
