Being “the fairest of them all?” Not so easy when you have an Evil Queen for an enemy, a grandson that’s part of a prophecy, a daughter who’s still trying to figure out what family means, and a husband who just wants to get back to the one place he feels most comfortable. That’s where most of Snow’s journey took place last season, and season three doesn’t shy away from these conflicts. While Goodwin couldn’t share much about what her character will face in the premiere, she did hint that the journey to Neverland was definitely “fraught with good intentions.”
So how does this affect her mentality on board the Jolly Roger, with one of her biggest foes? “I think this is the cross she bears throughout the beginning of the season,” said Goodwin at Comic Con. “She is going to have to come together, she’s going to have to reconcile these two very desperate ends of herself in order to be useful to anybody there because she’s torn in two at this point.”
