What happens when you get a Hydra agent and a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent in a room together? Luckily, there was no real tension between Chloe Bennet and Brett Dalton when they sat down with us at San Diego Comic Con – only a few secrets and a tease of what fans can expect for season two of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
When we last left Ward, he was being taken into custody after being exposed as a Hydra agent and after attempting to kill his former teammates. As for Skye, she was earning her wings as a newly minted S.H.I.E.L.D. agent by saving her friends and helping to take down Garrett and his soldiers.
So where does it go from here?
“That’s a good question that I hope season two will explore further,” Dalton teased with a laugh when asked about the star-crossed relationship. The good news is that despite not being a part of Coulson’s team anymore, we’ll get to see much more of Ward in season two.
