Who do you turn to when you’re bringing a beloved Marvel character to television? The people who know her best.
Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely served as screenwriters for both Captain America: The First Avenger, as well as this year’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier — and now they’re taking their talents to the small screen, helping to executive produce ABC’s Agent Carter, along with Resurrection‘s Tara Butters and Michele Fazekas.
“This is a special little Marvel film that comes to your television sets…it’s like an eight hour movie,” explained McFeely when we sat down at Comic Con this past summer.
“We developed all these characters in Cap 1 that we couldn’t use again,” added Markus, who, while he couldn’t promise confirmation of who we would see, did break the news that we would be seeing the original JARVIS, before he became the entity known as Tony Stark’s A.I.
